Mr. Hakes is an Associate in the asset management group of Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC. His primary responsibilities include tracking asset and fund-level performance and evaluating the impact of capital events such as dispositions, refinances, and recapitalizations. He is also involved with the property valuation process.

Mr. Hakes holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance, Investment & Banking and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. He was also an intern with Harrison Street Real Estate Capital during the summer of 2010 and is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
