Mr. Mac Laughlin is a Portfolio Accountant in the accounting group for Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC. He is responsible for coordinating with joint venture operating partners to obtain and monitor property-level reporting. Mr. MacLaughlin also assists with the preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated fund reporting to investors, and helps coordinate the annual audit and tax process between the operating partners and fund auditors.

Prior to joining Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, Mr. Mac Laughlin worked in public accounting as an auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP. In that role, he was responsible for planning and executing audits over the Annual Reports, SEC filings and Retirement Plans of public companies within the retail and consumer products industries. Mr. Mac Laughlin has also previously held finance and accounting support roles at both Nestle USA and Motorola, Inc.

Mr. Mac Laughlin received a B.S. with concentrations in both Accounting and Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 2008.  He is a Certified Public Accountant registered in the state of Illinois.
