Mr. Sheikh is the Director of Trading with Harrison Street Securities L.L.C. Mr. Sheikh's responsibilities include trading, portfolio analysis, and special projects.

Prior to joining HSS Mr. Sheikh was an Analyst at Forward Uniplan Real Estate Advisors. At Forward Uniplan Mr. Sheikh's main focus was covering the multifamily housing sector. In addition, Mr. Sheikh was involved with portfolio construction, and statistical modeling projects. Prior to his foray into real estate securities, Mr. Sheikh was a Financial Analyst at Chubb Insurance, and an Underwriter/Analyst with the Directors and Officers Insurance group at Great American Insurance.

Mr. Sheikh has a bachelor's degree in Business from Bombay University (Bombay, India) and a Masters degree in Quantitative Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology – Stuart Graduate School of Business (Chicago, Illinois).
