Jill Brosig
Ms. Brosig is a Senior Vice President for Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC, and head of Harrison Street University/The Robert W. Galvin Institute. In her role Ms. Brosig institutes a Lean Six Sigma philosophy to elevate Harrison Street Real Estate and its exclusive network of real estate operating partners to a new level of process rigor, strategic planning and customer satisfaction. Ms. Brosig is a certified Master Black Belt and engaged in Six Sigma quality campaigns for the past 20 years and also specializes in Marketing to Women, Capturing Voice of the Customer, Organizational Management Systems, and Emotionally Healthy Organizations.
Prior to joining Harrison Street, Ms. Brosig spent 15 years with Motorola, Inc. where she executed a variety of corporate initiatives including: e-learning, Digital Six Sigma, leadership pipeline management, and fashion and women’s market strategies. Ms. Brosig served as “the glue” amongst product design and development, advertising, sales channels, and product accessories, which ensured a holistic approach.
Preceding this role, Ms. Brosig was selected by and reported to the Chief Quality Officer to roll-out Digital Six Sigma corporate wide, which resulted in more than $800 million in savings in the first year of implementation. Other roles included the establishment of the Motorola Consulting organization, which enhanced and strengthened the company’s brand via global consulting engagements with companies such as the National Health Service (UK), Radio Shack (US), and Royal Dutch Shell (Netherlands), and the e-learning implementation, where the company reached 50% of training delivered electronically within two years. Ms. Brosig began her Motorola tenure as a development engineer of quartz crystals.
Before joining industry Ms. Brosig held research positions at Argonne National Laboratory and KMS Fusion, Inc. Ms. Brosig holds several patents and publications, and was awarded Best Presentation at the annual MOOT CORP® Global Business Plan competition.
Ms. Brosig has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Illinois, an M.S.E.E. from Ohio State University, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, specializing in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business. Ms. Brosig also is a frequent guest lecturer at Kellogg’s Graduate School of Business and has appeared in Fortune, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal and on PBS.
