Mr. Kranz is an Associate in the asset management group of Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC. His primary responsibilities include tracking asset and fund-level performance and evaluating the impact of capital events such as dispositions, refinances, and recapitalizations.  He is also involved with the property valuation process.

Prior to joining Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, Mr. Kranz was an analyst at Duff & Phelps within the Real Estate Services Group where he performed various valuation services for financial reporting, refinancing, litigation, and mergers & acquisitions.  Prior thereto, he interned at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board in the Real Estate Group where he updated and analyzed quarterly investment reports, evaluated debt maturities, and researched portfolio capital commitments.

Mr. Kranz holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance, Investment & Banking and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.  He is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
