Mr. Dandrea joined the firm in 2018. As a Vice President in the Asset Management group, he works closely with a number of the firm's operating partners and managers to monitor and drive the performance of a portfolio of student housing and self-storage properties held in the firm's Core and U.S. Opportunistic funds. He works closely with the Transactions group to evaluate potential student housing investments, and leads all refinancing and disposition efforts for the assets in his portfolio. 

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Dandrea oversaw the asset management group at Aspen Heights Partners, a vertically-integrated student housing and conventional multifamily developer with a national portfolio of managed properties. At Aspen Heights, Mr. Dandrea was responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the firm’s operating portfolio, including the management of all refinances and dispositions, and all investor reporting. Prior to Aspen Heights, Mr. Dandrea held a senior asset management position for a real estate private equity firm.

Mr. Dandrea holds a BS in Finance from Penn State University.
