Founded in 2005, Harrison Street has grown into one of the largest and most experienced investment platforms exclusively focused on investments in the education, healthcare and storage sectors. The Firm has and will continue to target these sectors because it believes they exhibit strong demographic trends, demonstrable demand drivers, and/or other attributes favorable for investment.

Since its inception, Harrison Street has acquired or developed 884 properties in 48 states that equate to approximately $23 billion in gross real estate cost. These investments include over 147,000 higher education beds serving over 140 different universities, more than 24,000 senior housing units, 212 healthcare office buildings in partnership with over 30 healthcare and hospital systems, and more than 135,600 storage units. Additionally, the Firm has realized on more than 363 assets, totaling gross investment cost of approximately $6.8 billion to a wide range of institutional investors.

The firm currently manages $17.2 billion in assets across the US and Europe.
