Co-Head of Asset Management – North America
Dave Liu brings more than 20 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Asset Management – North America, Dave leads the firm’s asset management teams that focus on Medical Office, Life Sciences, and Self Storage and also helps shape portfolio strategy across Harrison Street Asset Management’s North American platform. He is responsible for driving asset performance, developing operating partner relationships, and overseeing the execution of business plans across the firm’s real estate investments. Dave also collaborates with the Transactions team on the sourcing, evaluation, and structuring of acquisition and development opportunities nationwide.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Dave worked at Ventas in a variety of roles within Acquisitions and Asset Management, most recently serving as Vice President of Asset Management at Ventas, where he developed and executed the asset management strategy for Ventas’ Life Science & Innovation portfolio. Prior to Ventas, he served as Director, Real Estate Acquisitions & Dispositions for the Sears Holdings Corporation.
Dave graduated from Bates College with a BA and earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
