Head of Digital Assets
Michael Hochanadel brings more than 24 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Managing Director and Head of Digital Assets, Michael is responsible for leading the firm’s digital business and defining strategy for the digital sector, establishing key initiatives and executing the sourcing, analysis, and closing of joint venture partnerships and investments in the sector.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Michael was with Jones Lang LaSalle for 15 years where he was a senior leader for the firm focused on the data center asset class. As part of the Capital Markets team, he provided capital placement and structuring expertise to help user and investor clients develop optimal real estate finance solutions. He focused on sale leasebacks, investment sales, build to suit transaction structuring, and lease restructuring.
Michael received his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and graduated from Harvard University where he was a member of the baseball and football teams.
