Mr. Mutchler is a Senior Vice President at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC. He is the fund manager for HSRE's second opportunistic fund as well as the firm's medical office and senior housing specialist. During his tenure at HSRE, Mr. Mutchler has overseen over 1.8 million square feet of medical office, specialty hospital, inpatient rehab and surgery center space anchored by some of the premier health systems in the nation. Mr. Mutchler is also is responsible for the oversight of 40 senior housing communities consisting of over 5,000 units spread across the acuity spectrum including independent living, assisted living, and memory care units in both existing facilities and new developments.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Mutchler was a Director at TIAA-CREF Global Real Estate where he was responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of institutional-grade office and industrial properties in Northern California and Denver. Before joining TIAA-CREF, Mr. Mutchler was an Underwriting Manager at KBS Realty Advisors where he was responsible for underwriting office and industrial acquisitions in 2003-2006.

Mr. Mutchler received a B.B.A with a double-major in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
